Everything has it's own process. In leadership, we have to grow ourselves first so we can lead. As we become equipped with necessary skills, we'll be sent out to equip others as well. As we grow together, we excel altogether and all for God's glorious name.

As we embrace discipleship, we embrace the value of excellence as well. We know that it's one of the ways to please God. We offer God nothing but the best! And I guess no one among the Horizon champs wants to be left behind. Each one wants to excel and be disciple. As a proof 35 Champs charlie batch just finished SOL 1 and were given recognition this June 7, 2014. Some even received special awards such as Evangelism award and some were awarded cum laude of their batch. Tokens were also given to those who went extra miles to excel.

From Uncertainty to Security (Baptism)

I delight greatly in the LORD; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

Isaiah 6:10

As we delight in God, we won't be able to contain the happiness and all we can do is to publicly proclaim our relationship with our Creator, our Lord and Savior! 23 newly baptized brothers and sisters boldly and publicly proclaim their love for the Lord as they share their stories in the past and how God is writing a better story for them today! We praise God for their lives, for taking them this far. As our tatay Mans said, 'Ang mahirap para sa matibay', our brothers and sisters went through a lot of hardships before they finally accepted Christ and boldly confessed their relationship with Him. Some of them were called losers, victims and even rebels but now champions and generals of Christ. Some were self righteous, had this I-don't-need God attitude but now are ready to serve God for the rest of their lives. There were some who were insecure but now boldly speaking in front of the crowd. From hopeless to hopeful and from sinful to a follower of Christ. These are just some of their stories and as we listened to their testimonies, we could see how God moved in their lives! They were once nobody but God has been working faithfully to turn them to become somebody who will make a history for God's glory! These maybe the story of most of us but what's more important than our past is our present and our future with God. This is just but the beginning, God has more in store for us! Laban lang ng laban!

We are all excited for what God will do next! Let's all be expectant for what God has planned for us individually and for us as a family, as a church!

RPN: Year of Promotion

May 24, 2014 – RPN Conference: Year of Promotion was held in Cuneta Astrodome with 9,000 delegates. The conference in itself is history for the whole network since it was the first time that we held the event in Cuneta, which is two times the size of Word of Hope where we held our previous conferences.

But this time, it is not just the whole network to claim its defining moment during the conference but Horizon as well have experienced our personal defining moment, the beginning of our next 20 years and the start of our promotion.

Our very own, Ptr. Manric Tan Pascual was announced officially as one of the twelve of Ptr. Rafy Panlilio, our Horizon Kingdom Movers danced with the Grace Testament Church and Praise Christian Fellowship during the praise and worship and some of our church mates volunteered as marshals in the said event.

The conference talks about promotion shared by Ptr. Rafy Panlilio, Ptr. Loi Gatchalian, Ptr. Rudy Fernandez and Dr. Bishop Oriel Ballano. The conference ended with the voice of the crowd resounding more souls! More disciples! More leaders! And full house for the Lord!

There are so many things that keep all of the Champions excited in this season of our church. Many are the works to be done and goals to be accomplished. In line with this, we are given the opportunity to give our best for the betterment of our church. Save the date this March 23, 2014 at PCF Horizon Center for this “One Day” when our resources can be provided with our sacrifices, bring your best offering and be excited to give God what you’ve got! Let us all show God what we can and He will fill what we cannot! Let this time be the season of generosity!
